The mobile score sat at 52, held back by heavy hero images, render-blocking JavaScript/CSS and frequent layout shifts.

What I did

  1. 01Converted images and hero assets to WebP with responsive srcset.
  2. 02Deferred non-critical JavaScript and streamlined the critical CSS path.
  3. 03Moved static assets and media onto a global edge CDN.
  4. 04Stabilized dimensions on dynamic elements to remove layout shift.

Results

  • Mobile performance up from 52 to 83+, with 90+ on desktop.
  • Organic landing page bounce rate down 52.6%.
  • Faster crawling and indexing by Googlebot.
